Pastor Bob Eshleman graduated from Bob Jones University in 1995  with a B.A. in Pastoral Studies.  He was ordained in February 1995 at Hampton Park Baptist Church in Greenville, SC, under the ministry of Dr. David Yearick.  Before being called to the ministry, he was an operations manager for a small business in Maryland, and prior to that a territory sales manager for a specialty pet foods manufacturer. While living in Maryland, he yielded to God’s call upon his life and moved his family to Greenville, SC, so he could study for the ministry at BJU. During those years at Bob Jones, he saw God’s provision and confirmation that it was God’s will for him to be in the ministry. He has claimed Psalm 18:1-3 as his life verse: “I will love Thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised, so shall I be saved from mine enemies.”
He and his wife Kathi have been married since 1975. Kathi works part-time at the local library as well as being actively involved in the ministry, teaching a Ladies Sunday School class, having a Ladies Bible Study on Thursday evenings in addition to being active in other facets of the ministry. They have 3 grown children who live in various places along the east coast- all active in church ministries. Their family is growing with now 4 grandchildren and one due in August of 2012. They continues to be grateful for God's rich grace upon their lives. .
Their oldest son Adam is a 2004 graduate of Bob Jones University and is a junior high school Bible teacher and guidance counselor at a Christian school. He is married and he and his wife have 2 children, Christiana and Micah..
Their daughter Megan earned her master’s degree from BJU in 2008 and is employed by Bob Jones University Press. She and her husband have 2 girls, Ellie and Karis. .
Their youngest son Zach and his wife are 2011 graduates of Bob Jones University and he is presently working with an insurance company as well as working with the youth group at Central Baptist Church in Ocala, FL. .
