| Pastor Bob Eshleman graduated from Bob Jones University in 1995 with a B.A. in Pastoral Studies. He was ordained in February 1995 at Hampton Park Baptist Church in Greenville, SC, under the ministry of Dr. David Yearick. Before being called to the ministry, he was an operations manager for a small business in Maryland, and prior to that a territory sales manager for a specialty pet foods manufacturer. While living in Maryland, he yielded to God’s call upon his life and moved his family to Greenville, SC, so he could study for the ministry at BJU. During those years at Bob Jones, he saw God’s provision and confirmation that it was God’s will for him to be in the ministry. He has claimed Psalm 18:1-3 as his life verse: “I will love Thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised, so shall I be saved from mine enemies.” He and his wife Kathi have been married for 33 years. Kathi homeschooled all three of their children, and now works at the local public library and as the church secretary part-time, as well as being involved in many facets of the ministry with her husband. Their oldest son Adam is a 2004 graduate of Bob Jones University and is a junior high school Bible teacher and guidance counselor at a Christian school. He is married and he and his wife have one baby daughter. Their daughter Megan earned her master’s degree from BJU in 2008 and is employed by Bob Jones University Press. She and her husband are expecting their first child this fall. Their youngest son Zach is currently studying for the ministry and is a junior at BJU. |
