Assistant Pastor Ryan Bare was born in a Christian home and had many opportunities to hear the Gospel.  At the age of five, he responded to the Gospel and trusted Christ as Savior.  He was then baptized a few years later.  When he was 12, he told the Lord that he was willing to do whatever He would have for him to do.  In the summer of 1999, while at a Christian camp, he realized that the Lord was calling him into the ministry.  Two years later, the Lord led him to Northland Baptist Bible College in Dunbar, WI, where he received a BA in Pastoral Studies in 2005.  During his time at Northland, he was able to do a summer internship here at Harmony Baptist Church in the summer of 2004.  After being out of school almost two years, he began graduate studies through Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, WI, where he graduated with an MA in Biblical Studies in 2009.  Pastor Ryan praises the Lord for how He has led in His life.  His life verses are Jeremiah 29:11 and 13:  “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end…And ye shall seek me and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”  He began as assistant pastor at Harmony Baptist in October 2009.
